The Canadian Music Management Collective (CMMC) was established in the spring of 2025 by a group of musicians who recognized a critical need within the industry. We know firsthand that valuable time and energy are often diverted from creative pursuits to managing the business side of a music career. For artists who are already handling multiple roles—from performer to social media manager to bookkeeper—the administrative burden is overwhelming, and the path to a sustainable career feels out of reach.
As a non-profit built by artists, for artists, our mission is to change that. We focus on providing practical, hands-on support that addresses the real, day-to-day operational needs of musicians.
Our services, including booking management, marketing and promotion, financial management, and grant application assistance, are designed to alleviate these non-creative tasks. By offering collaborative, focused support, we help artists reclaim their time, enhance their professional opportunities, and cultivate a supportive community where they can thrive and focus on their craft. We are committed to providing this support with a focus on equity and access, ensuring all emerging musicians have the opportunity to succeed.
